Herb Challenge! Week #4

Thank you Sarah for your comment: ” I would love to learn from you everything you know about activated charcoal!”

Activated charcoal is an adsorbent, which means it binds to foreign substances in your body. This is what makes it good for stomach bugs, food poisoning, etc. It’s many uses include:

  1. Teeth Whitening Just be sure to wear black, and it’ll stain grout.
  2. Stomach bugs  and food poisoning Take one capsule with a glass of water as soon as you feel sick.
  3. Face mask Add the contents of one capsule into my DIY Face Mask. It helps a lot with acne.
  4. In a poultice Make a paste of activated charcoal and water, and apply to a spider or bug bite, bee sting  or as a spot treatment for acne, and let dry.

I hope that answers your question Sarah!
