DIY Face Mask

Face masks are very simple to make, and have some great benefits. They pull toxins from your body, are a great acne remedy, and absorb excess oil. This one is made with either Bentonite clay or French Green clay. You can get both here. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend using Bentonite clay, as it is a bit gentler than the French Green clay. You will want to do a patch test on the inside of your arm before smearing the mask all over your face, to make sure that your skin is not to sensitive. If it stings at all, don’t use it.

Note: Bentonite clay can NOT come in contact with metal. When it does, it deactivates the clay.

Recipe for DIY Face Mask

2 Tablespoons Bentonite or French Green Clay

1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), or water

Water

Place all ingredients except water into a small dish, and mix together. Add water if needed to form a spreadable paste.

To use:

Spread a thin layer of mask onto face a let dry for 10 minutes. If your face starts to sting or itch beyond your comfort zone, then wash it off.
